Castle Kaha Lani Resort Lihue, Lihue

We had a pleasant stay overall with a central location that made exploring the island easy. The beaches nearby were nice for walking but swimming wasn’t ideal due to strong waves. The units were clean and well-equipped, although some amenities need improvement. There was no hot tub by the pool, and we faced issues with the laundry facilities, although we appreciated the $50 refund. It’s a mixed bag, but we enjoyed our time here.

The property boasts stunning ocean views and is located right on the beach, which is perfect for those who love the water. However, the lack of air conditioning and poor cleaning service made our stay quite uncomfortable, especially with a family. While the condo itself was lovely, it’s not set up for families needing regular upkeep or kitchen use in hot weather.

During our stay, I found the resort to be well-located for exploring Kauai, with a lovely maintained environment. However, the noise levels at night were disruptive, and the lack of air conditioning made for some uncomfortable evenings. The beach in front isn’t ideal for swimming, but nearby options exist. Overall, it offers a decent experience, but not without its challenges.

We had a decent stay at Kaha Lani, with nice views and a well-maintained property. The location is quite close to the beach, but I was disappointed with the dirty beach right in front, and the pool was unexpectedly closed during our visit.
